We are seeking a part time reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering our tasty brews to Montgomery County. As a crucial part of our operations, the Delivery Driver will play a pivotal role in maintaining customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle (van or truck) to transport beer products to designated locations.
• Load and unload beer products onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items for transportation.
• Plan delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries, considering traffic and road conditions.
• Verify delivery orders and invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the products being delivered.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering products promptly and courteously interacting with customers at delivery locations.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle, conducting regular inspections and reporting any issues.
• Keep accurate records of any incidents that occur during transportation.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Regularly lift up to 55 lbs and maneuver 165 lbs and more.
• Comfortably work at heights, in cramped spaces and awkward positions, and in hot and cold environments for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in an environment with high noise levels
• Ability to safely utilize scissor lift and forklift as needed (training provided, if necessary
• Ability/willingness to work in a wet environment and handle hazardous materials appropriately
• Ability to stand, walk and work for extended periods
• Ability to communicate effectively within a team setting
• Ability to work unsupervised as needed

Working Conditions:

The work environment of a brewery is dynamic and ever evolving. The following are representative characteristics of the work environment an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job:

• The noise level in a packaging facility is frequently loud
• The employee works near moving mechanical parts
• The employee works on wet floors and with wet equipment
• The employee works in a shared environment in close proximity to other team members
• Temperatures can be cold or hot depending on the season
