Dinosaurs last roamed the earth 66 million years ago but have continually inspired human imaginations ever since the first bones were discovered buried in the earth.

Here at UNION, we grew up with the dino-fantasy worlds of Land of The Lost, Land Before Time, and of course, the amazing Jurassic Park. So when The Maryland Zoo asked us to make a beer for their new Dinosaur exhibit we couldn’t help imagine a world in which the Dinos and the Brewers lived side-by-side. Hunting, gathering, chasing prey, and running from predators is thirsty business. So we set out to brew a beer that could quench the thirst and replenish the spirit of both the hunter and the hunted.

Dino Sour is like an adult performance sports drink that could (probably) stave off a mass-extinction, at least until the end of the pint. This tart, low abv, wheat-based beer, is infused with real lemon and lime and just a touch of salt. Pairs well with digging up fossils, animatronic dinosaurs, and strolling through the zoo!
