Back in 2020, we participated in the Black Is Beautiful nationwide brewery collaborative effort to raise funds for local non-profits. We donated a portion of all proceeds to BALT – the Baltimore Action Legal Team. This year, we brewed a Black IPA, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to the National Black Brewers Association.

Black is Beautiful Volume 2 pours solid black with toasty light brown foam. Classic west-coast IPA notes up front – grapefruit, pine, sticky resinous dankness, light stonefruit, underpinned by a delicate touch of burnt marshmallow and toffee. Palate-coating texture, firmly bitter, with a touch of sweetness. Finishes with a lingering impression of cold brew coffee and dank resin.
