Hands on PASTA workshop, no prior pasta making experience required!
Sunday, March 16th | 5:30pm | In the Duckpin Room at UNION

You can make pasta anywhere as long as you have flour and water. These workshops are all about using your hands and some basic tools: no eggs, no machines or fancy equipment required! You will learn how to make a classic southern Italian pasta dough by hand, which will then be hand-formed into some traditional southern Italian shapes.

This is a hands-on pasta workshop, led by Chef Laurie Boucher (@baltimorehomecook) and Chef Frank Granito (@pasticciogranito). Your ticket includes one (1) complimentary beverage from Union Craft Brewing. Additional beverages will be available for purchase during the event. Please drink responsibly.

Chef Laurie will demonstrate how to make the pasta dough by hand. Using pre-made dough you will learn how to hand form a variety of southern shapes. Once you have created your beautiful pasta, we will as a class enjoy a family style pasta meal with a perfectly paired sauce prepared by Chef Frank.

Bring your appetite!! In addition to a pasta feast, Italian bread and dessert is included!

FAQs
No prior pasta making experience necessary.
Each session is unique and will feature different hand formed pasta shapes and different perfectly paired sauces.
This class is not gluten free.
This class will include a dough making demonstration by the instructor.
With pre-prepared pasta dough, you will learn how to create a number of interesting and unique pasta shapes by hand using common household tools as well as being introduced to more specialized pasta tools.

Join us March 22nd for another amazing night of comedy with headliner Anthony Moore. Anthony Moore is a comedian originally from Philadelphia now residing in New York City. Anthony made the transition becoming a regular at the world famous Comedy Cellar performing alongside top comedians such as Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle. Anthony has appeared on Kevin Hart’s Comedy Central show, Hart of the City. He made his Netflix acting debut on Shane Gillis’ sitcom Tires and also been featured on HBO twice on Game Theory with Bomani Jones. You can listen to Anthony weekly on his podcast We Want Moore. This rising star is looking forward to a promising career in entertainment.
