Satellite Surfer was brewed in collaboration with Butler Brew Works to celebrate the nation’s only Black Beer Festival: Fresh Fest. While the festival couldn’t happen in person this year Fresh Fest switched up the format to throw America’s First Black (Digital) Beer Festival.

This Hazy IPA is brewed with Strata, Comet, and Galaxy to give it a cosmic aroma and flavor. We added coriander during fermentation to give the beer an even bigger citrus nose with notes of fresh pear, pineapple, and a hint of sandalwood. A soft, wavy malt body lays down the base and allows the hops to be the star of this beer. Mild fruitiness in the taste, with an earthy after-note of freshly clipped spruce tips.Satellite Surfer artwork was created by local artist Lurker. If you’re not familiar with his work– get familiar!
