Next in our “Cide Project” Series, we teamed up with our good friends at ANXO based out of Washington D.C.ANXO ferments their ciders with apples purchased directly from local, trusted farmers. With our Cide Project #1, we decided on the Northern Spy varietal. Northern Spy is most famously known as the baking apple that we would use to make a damn fine pie. The cider has huge notes of butterscotch and caramel with hints of baking spices and a crisp, dry finish.
